How do I update my Project Zomboid server to b42?

The new beta update allows for multiplayer Project Zomboid servers. There’s never been a better time to host your own server to play with the new changes.

Setting the Server to Beta

To use the beta do the following:

1. Open the Blacksmith’s Portal
2. Stop the server
3. Create a backup from the Backups tab
4. Go to Startup
5. Set Steam Beta Branch to “unstable”

6. Go to Settings and click Reinstall Server
7. Start your server once it has finished installing
