How do I update my Necesse server?

Necesse servers can be updated simply and easily from the AleForge Panel. Here’s how you can update.

  1. Go to the AleForge Panel
  2. Stop your server
  3. Create a backup from the Backups tab
  4. Go to Settings and reinstall your server. Once it is done reinstalling, your server will be running the latest version.

Reinstalling from Settings is a soft reinstall and normally does not touch your mods or world files but it is still good to make a backup in case the update messes with your world.
