How do I change the name and description of my Project Zomboid server?

You can change the name and description of your Project Zomboid server in the server browser. Here’s how you can do that.

1. Go to the AleForge Panel
2. Stop your server
3. Open Startup and note down Internal Save Name as you’ll need this later

4. Go to Files
5. Open .cache/Server/
6. Open InternalSaveName.ini

By default this file is called dedicated.ini

7. Use CTRL+F to locate PublicName on line 69 and change it to your desired value

8. Use CTRL+F to locate PublicDescription on line 72 and change it to your desired value

9. Click Save Content and start your server
