How do I password protect my Icarus server?

You can set a password for your Icarus server so that only players with the password may join. Here’s how you can do that.

Configuring a Password for your server

Using Blacksmith’s Portal

  1. Open the Blacksmith’s Portal
  2. Go to Startup
  3. Change Join Password to your desired value

  1. Restart your server

Self-Hosting/Other Providers

  1. Open the directory in which your server is installed
  2. Open Icarus/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/ServerSettings.ini
  3. Change JoinPassword= to your desired password

  1. Restart your server

Closing

Your server will now be password protected!
