How do I change the Server Visibility for Project Zomboid Server

Changing the server visibility to private gives you more control over who can access the server such as those who have been granted permission can join. This helps servers intended for a specific group of players while also keeping out unwanted players.

How to Change the Server Visibility

  1. Login to the AleForge Panel and select your server
  2. Stop the server
  3. Open the File Manager from the left-hand navigation menu
  4. Open the following directory

/home/container/.cache/Server

  1. Open the [INTERNAL SAVE NAME].ini. The .ini name is the INTERNAL SAVE NAME on the Startup page
  2. Find the line Public= and change the value from true to false
  3. Click Save Content
  4. Start your server
