How can I get an additional port for my server?

You may want to have an additional port assigned to your server to support a mod like Proximity Chat, or so you can add an integration for another piece of software.

Most servers come with additional port allocations you can create for your server. To create an additional allocation, you can use the following instructions.

Creating an Allocation

  1. Open the AleForge Panel
  2. Go to Network
  3. Click Create Allocation

  1. An additional port will appear on this page that is allocated to your server.

If you would like to get additional allocations for your server over the default allotment, please contact support.

On shared IP servers, most of the time we will give you the next available port in the address space. You will have to change the configuration of the mod or integration you are installing to use the port we give you. If you need to use the default port you will have to purchase the dedicated IP address addon for your server.
