How do I increase the max players on Project Zomboid?

AleForge does not offer any plans with slots, which means that the maximum amount of players on your server is user-definable. Here’s how you can set the max players for your server.

While AleForge does not limit the maximum number of players on your server, the server may not have enough resources to appropriately accommodate the number of players on your server. For Project Zomboid, the rule of thumb is to 0.5GB of RAM per player on your server for an optimal experience.

  3. Navigate to Startup
  4. Set Max Players to your desired amount
  5. Start your server
