How do I install mods onto my Vintage Story server?

Vintage Story allows you to install mods on your server, allowing you to experience the game differently.

Using Blacksmith’s Portal

  1. Download the mods you’d like to use from the official Vintage Story modding website
  2. Open Blacksmith’s Portal
  3. Go to Files
  4. Open the Mods folder and upload your downloaded .zip here

  1. Restart your server

Self-Hosting/Other Providers

  1. Download the mods you’d like to use from the official Vintage Story modding website
  2. Find where your Vintage Story server is installed
  3. Open the Mods folder, if it is not already there you can create this folder
  4. Place your downloaded .zip file here
  5. Restart your server

Closing

Now your server will start up with your installed mods!
