How do I add a token to my ECO server?

ECO requires that you generate a token from your login at https://play.eco/account. We’ll walk you through the process of setting this up so you can play on your ECO server.

Generating a token

1. Login to https://play.eco/account
2. Under Server Authentication click Generate Token

3. Copy the generated token as we will need this later

Adding a token to your ECO server

Using the Blacksmith’s Portal

1. Open the Blacksmith’s Portal
2. Go to Startup
3. Paste your token into the [ACCOUNT] SLG TOKEN field

4. Start your server

Self-Hosting/Other Providers

1. Go to your where your server files are located
2. You will need to add --userToken="" to your startup file
3. Between the quotes, paste your token
4. Save your startup file, and run it
