How do I change when my Rust server resets?

You can configure specifically when your Rust server will reset, letting you customize exactly how long you want your server’s map to last. Here’s how to change it.

Changing when your Rust server resets

Using Blacksmith’s Portal

  1. Open the Blacksmith’s Portal
  2. Go to Startup
  3. Locate Wipe Day Info
  4. Set it to a number between 0-6, with 0 being Sunday, and 6 being Saturday
  5. Locate Wipe Hour Info
  6. Set it to a number between 0-23
  7. Restart your server

Self-Hosting/Other Providers

  1. Locate where your server is installed
  2. Find the startup script and open it and edit it
  3. Add +wipeDayofWeek "<0-6>" to the end of the command
  4. Within the quotation marks, enter a number between 0-6, with 0 being Sunday, and 6 being Saturday
  5. Now add +wipeHourofDay "0-23" to the end of the command
  6. Within the quotation marks, enter a number between 0-23
  7. Save the file
  8. Restart your server
